Jacob¡¯s experience includes flood impact risk and assessment, stormwater, groundwater, and coastal environment management. He provides technical support to help manage impacts on the water cycle for a range of transport, land development, and other civil projects.
With a background in environmental approvals and a good understanding of NSW legislation, Jacob has a unique blend of technical skills which are required to understand the water cycle. This includes geospatial information software (GIS), hydraulic, hydrological, and terrain modelling. Currently, he¡¯s enjoying working on several projects within the West Dapto Urban Release area, where a large amount of greenfield urban development is proposed across the catchment. It will require important consideration for flood impact and risk in addition to waterway management.
When he¡¯s not designing water systems that serve local communities, Jacob likes to exercise along the coast and go out for a coffee. You¡¯ll likely find him at his local beach or a National Park.
