Rafal¡¯s career in civil engineering was inspired by his childhood enthusiasm for seeking to understand how things work, building with Lego blocks, and watching the Discovery Channel. Now, as a civil project technical lead in renewable energy, he¡¯s dedicated to understanding clients¡¯ objectives and constraints, building strong relationships, and setting up projects for success from the start.
Known for his resilience, patience, and communication skills, Rafal has a proactive approach when it comes to delivering projects. His work on the utility-scale Gunnedah Solar Farm was a rewarding energy transition project¡ªhe played a key role in the construction phase, inspecting progress on-site and collaborating with industry contractors and our teams across the globe. This project deepened his passion for renewable energy, making it his key focus.
When he¡¯s not working with renewables, Rafal enjoys all kinds of sports including running, ice skating, snowboarding, football, and tennis. He also likes camping, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
