Manama, Bahrain

The origins of the word Bahrain mean something akin to ¡°two seas¡±. An apt description given that¡ªin this island nation¡ªwater¡¯s never too far from our line of sight, or our minds. In fact, it dominates our days.

Though surrounded by water, Bahrain¡¯s got a desert climate. Combine that with a dense, and growing, population, and there¡¯s always work to be done. Since 1975, our team¡¯s worked to deliver a range of services including water policy, network, pump station, and treatment plant design. Most recently, we¡¯ve completed projects like the Ma-Ameer Sewage Treatment Plant (MEED Sustainable Project of the Year National Winner 2017) to connect previously un-serviced areas to the sewerage networks. This helps to improve environmental and public health standards. Importantly, it also lifts the quality of life for our community, a vivid blend of Bahraini nationals and expatriates alike.
