Jim enjoys the challenge of solving complex engineering problems to ensure that our transportation infrastructure is safe, reliable, and cost-effective.?He knows people depend on transportation infrastructure daily, and that it directly impacts their quality of life.?
Having amassed a diverse set of capabilities, including design, engineering computations, and load rating analysis for various bridge elements, Jim works on projects of all shapes and sizes. Currently, he¡¯s engineering the North Metro Rail Line, a new major 18.5-mile commuter rail line in Denver, Colorado. This rail line will provide rapid transit service for travelers along the congested highway corridor and feature the Skyway Bridge¡ªa 9,500-foot-long bridge that will become the longest bridge in Colorado.
Jim enjoys all things outdoors, which is a large part of why he moved from his hometown of Fort Washington, Maryland to Denver. He loves living an active lifestyle, whether hiking, rock climbing, or skiing.
