Bridge inspections are certainly not for the faint of heart¡ªbut for Joel, they¡¯re second nature. With no room for a fear of heights, Joel has risen to the occasion (both literally and figuratively), inspecting of some of the Tri-State area¡¯s most premier bridges¡ªincluding the George Washington, Robert F. Kennedy and ?the new Bayonne Bridges. During his 25 years of in-depth and biennial bridge inspections as a senior bridge engineer, inspection team leader, and project engineer, he has amassed a number of valuable takeaways and lessons learned, given the differences in each structure.
