With more than 30 years of experience in the environmental field, Paola has worked on a range of biodiversity and sustainability issues.?She focuses on identifying real-world sustainability solutions and integrating science with planning. She consults domestically and internationally on environmental issues including species conservation, sustainability, nature-based solutions, environmental compliance, biodiversity analyses, natural resource valuation, water management, and protected area research.
Paola has published and presented on these topics and has been a reviewer for the journals Conservation Biology and Environmental Management. Additionally, she worked for the Wildlife Conservation Society and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand. Born in Rome, she speaks Italian and English fluently and is conversant in Spanish, Thai, and Lao.
When she isn¡¯t working on environmental efforts, Paola loves adventurous cooking and travel, chilling with her two dogs, and spending time with her husband and two grown kids.
