He develops programs to solve complex problems, such as helping New York City Transit (NYCT) to create a systematic methodology for assessing the feasibility of enhancing its stations to modern standards.
A personal project, the $165M Clifton Rail Maintenance Shop on Staten Island is also exemplary of Jim¡¯s work. The pre-existing shop had been flooded by Superstorm Sandy, but the new state-of-the-art store is designed to be flood resistant. It¡¯s a complex building on a tight site, so Jim has been focusing on operational efficiency to deliver a great facility for all who use it. ??
