Though a longboarder and Pecha Kucha enthusiast, Doug is more well known for his business development skills. He supports client relationships and the pursuit of strategic opportunities in our sectors, and he¡¯s locally focused on clients and account managers within the Buildings Engineering and Architecture teams in Toronto.
Doug has been a mechanical engineer for over 16 years, and these days he works as interface between clients and our multidisciplinary teams. With his experience in healthcare and post-secondary education projects, he delivers innovative solutions to projects like the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research in Doha, Qatar. That project was a tremendous design opportunity that propelled national health and cancer strategies, reflected Hamad Medical Corporation¡¯s rich contributions to society, and created a public icon to Qatar¡¯s role in developing cancer therapies, reducing suffering, and enhancing spirit.
Championing our healthcare sector¡¯s brand recognition, Doug steps beyond traditional engineering and architecture, making himself key to the promotion of our Toronto studio.
Outside of work, one of Doug¡¯s latest endeavors is teaching his oldest daughter how to skateboard.?
