A structural engineer, Emily has more than 15 years of structural design experience in bridges and transit infrastructure. She¡¯s passionate about transportation¡ªbecause she can directly impact and enrich people¡¯s lives with her thoughtful work.
For the past five years, she¡¯s been an integral part of our design team for the Chicago Transit Authority¡ªthe second-largest transportation system in the United States. In her work on the Red and Purple Line modernization project, she¡¯s taken on many roles, including deputy lead designer, structural discipline lead, non-right of way (ROW) discipline lead, and deputy structural discipline lead. Currently, she¡¯s serving as the lead designer.
Away from her work on the Red and Purple line, Emily enjoys reading, traveling, and visiting her family.
