Dr. Rosamund Hyde is our manager of Research and Innovation Services. She holds two degrees in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in civil engineering. She¡¯s a licensed professional engineer in British Columbia and Ontario.
For the past 18 years, Rosamund has led the growth of research resources for Ãë²¥ consultants. She manages claims for more than $5 million annually in research- and design-related tax savings and coordinates the input of business line research and innovation leaders to these Ãë²¥ programs. In 2010, Rosamund established the Ãë²¥ R&D Resource eLibrary to make up-to-date technical literature available to employees. Since launch, downloads have grown from 3,000 to 70,000 publications per year and the eLibrary is now available to all Ãë²¥ employees worldwide.
From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Hyde served on the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board, a standing committee of Engineers Canada. In a changing world, Dr. Hyde¡¯s goal is to support a research conversation that helps consultants facilitate rapid change¡ªwithout chaos.
