Tim believes that if you work hard and do what¡¯s right, the rest will fall into place. He applies this approach when managing ecological restoration projects ranging from phytoremediation and natural channel design to shoreline stabilization and habitat restoration.
No matter the project, Tim works through the entire framework, identifying impactful opportunities, aligning all parties, and overseeing safety. Most notably, he¡¯s managed five simultaneous Environmental Protection Agency Great Lakes restoration projects in the St. Louis River Area of Concern. Following sediment cleanup, habitat restoration actions included controlling invasive species, planting nearly 60 acres with native seed, and installing more than 390,000 native plantings across all five projects¡ªincluding the Spirit Lake remediation project, which was the largest.
When he isn¡¯t managing complex restoration projects, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, who are always up for an adventure! When they¡¯re not on the go, he usually has a project (or five) in the house or yard to keep him busy.?
