Dave is a structural engineer with more than 30 years of experience in engineering management and construction. He¡¯s involved with the development and implementation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) policy with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
As a project manager, Dave works closely with PennDot on research, development, and maintenance of their policies and standards regarding pedestrian facility design and construction. He believes accessibility is a vital part of pedestrian facilities and transportation networks. Dave also regularly works with the U.S. Access Board, ADA advocacy groups, and PennDOT¡¯s District ADA coordinators.?
When he isn¡¯t helping make public transportation more accessible, Dave enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
