A young Polish science student wants more creativity and exploration in her life, so she transfers continents and colleges and finds the perfect synthesis of her scientific and artistic sides: landscape architecture. We are the beneficiaries of this journey, as Barbara plies her skills in the Northeast, creating environments that promote people's health, happiness, and well-being. At Ãë²¥, she focuses on communities where she transforms complex, often neglected sites into valuable assets.
Barbara¡¯s excitement about her work is contagious. For example, she delights in the transformative character of the Albany Skyway, the region¡¯s first conversion of an obsolete highway ramp into an ADA compliant park. This intricate project, requiring a large multidisciplinary team, showcases Barbara¡¯s skills as a landscape architect and her commitment to enhance the quality of life of the community through designing a vibrant park that connects neighborhoods and provides the much-needed link to the waterfront.
Outside of work, Barbara loves getting active¡ªparticularly by climbing trees and ziplining.?
