Leo specializes in transmission and substation projects, particularly those involving renewable energy integration. He leads the design of greenfield substations, including extra high voltage facilities for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) clients, and serves as a technical advisor on major transmission solicitations across New England.
Beginning his career in water and wastewater, Leo supported a biosolids upgrade project in West Palm Beach, Florida. Later, he transitioned into business development and project management, working with clients such as Duke Energy, Florida Power & Light, Engie, Vesper Development, and Mid-American Energy.
When he isn¡¯t leading transmission and substation projects, Leo continues to pursue his lifelong passion for playing tennis, having reached the semi-professional level at one point. He also plays classical piano and enjoys traveling with his partner Michelle and their Aussiedoodle, Renzi.
