Working with our Water team, Deirdre is a chartered engineer with over 22 years' experience in civil engineering design for both public and private sector clients. Her Ãë²¥ includes design of drainage networks, sewerage and water supply schemes, infrastructure master planning, flood risk assessment studies, and sustainable drainage design.
With a keen interest in sustainable development and design, Deirdre is a strong advocate for nature-based solutions¡ªshe believes in using these where possible as an engineering solution, to achieve a balance between our natural and engineered worlds. Currently, she¡¯s working closely with clients to identify opportunities where nature-based solutions can be integrated.
Outside of work, Deirdre enjoys walking her dog and supporting her children¡¯s sports teams in all seasons!
