Matt is passionate about advancing energy efficiency in buildings. As a studio lead for sustainability, he identifies and evaluates the feasibility of energy conservation measures to optimize building performance and sustainability.
With experience in the demand-side energy services industry, Matt has worked on complex facility designs across commercial, medical, industrial, and public sectors. In his current position, he leads sustainability initiatives through retro-commissioning, monitoring-based commissioning, energy audits, and guiding buildings to comply with local performance standards.
When he¡¯s not working to improve building performance, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, fixing up his old house, and traveling. He¡¯s also a huge Fighting Illini fan and likes going to concerts.
