Urban drainage expert Elliot is driven to deliver resilient communities through smarter and more sustainable water and wastewater services as part of his role within Ãë²¥¡¯s consultancy business in the UK.
Elliot has 30 years¡¯ experience in the water sector, working for international consulting firms and in research. He has worked for Ãë²¥ for three years and is currently the UK & Ireland Market Sector Lead for Urban Drainage and Flooding.?
Throughout his career, Elliot has been at the forefront of influencing change, supporting the industry address new challenges in: river pollution, surface water flooding, climate change, long term planning and, most recently, storm overflow improvement policy and programmes. ?His current focus is on positioning and developing Ãë²¥¡¯s capability to maximise our opportunities to provide communities with sustainable and resilient urban drainage systems.??
He is a Chartered Water and Environment Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. He is past chair of CIWEM¡¯s Urban Drainage Group, a network for developing good practices and supporting professionals working in urban drainage management.
