Rachel is a nuclear specialist with experience in nuclear environmental protection, permit compliance, assurance, and regulation. As a nuclear management consultant, she works on a range of projects within the nuclear new build and operational nuclear power sectors.
Drawing on in-house experience gained while working within the environment teams for both the Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C projects, Rachel is comfortable operating in challenging regulatory environments. She applies her Ãë²¥ in project, technical, and commercial management to balance the needs of all interested parties and deliver successful outcomes. Rachel has also completed extensive technical training and a range of placements in different locations across EDF Energy¡¯s operational fleet, which underpins her focus on environmental engineering integration.
Away from environmental consulting, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly by the sea, whether it¡¯s coastal walking, surfing or scuba diving¡ªthough the UK waters can be a challenge.
